The YWP 10000C is a high-capacity, hybrid diesel power system engineered for demanding wind measurement campaigns in cold, remote, and off-grid environments. With a proven and durable design, this solution ensures maximum uptime, minimal maintenance, and secure data collection—even in Arctic and Nordic conditions.

Reliable power supply

Built into a 10′ insulated shipping container, the YWP 10000C is designed to operate reliably in extreme climateswhere conventional solar systems fall short.

Features:

  • 2 x 10kW water-cooled diesel generators
  • 2 x 200Ah 24V lithium battery packs
  • 1,000-liter integrated fuel tank
  • A 10,000W inverter with versatile outputs:
    • 24V – 380W
    • 48V – 1,400W
    • 230V – 2,000W

The lithium batteries allow for fewer generator hours, faster charging, and deeper discharge compared to traditional batteries—making the system more efficient and cost-effective over time.

Optional extras:

  • 2–4 solar panels (350W each), mounted above the tree line
  • 200W wind turbine
  • Expanded battery capacity (3–4 lithium batteries)
  • Automatic fire extinguisher and flame detection system

With its intuitive user interface, the YWP 10000C offers real-time system monitoring and is compatible with a power consumption range of 200–3,800W. It’s a perfect fit for powering:
